Hey crew, we’re back with the first of our Selects series for 2021 just in time for your drive home. The first selector that we have lined up is Michael Patterson a.k.a Patto
Patto started DJing 10 years ago using an Ipod, before progressing to become one of Adelaide’s most sought after Drum & Bass DJ’s. Starting out playing parties and on the late great Soundpond.net, he managed to net himself 1st place in Twisted Audio’s Homegrown freqs mixing competition. Since then he’s made a name playing with various Adelaide promotors, playing bush doofs, and supporting the likes of LSB and BCee.
Patto has been heavily inspired by outdoor festivals such as Earth festival, and this lends itself into his style. This mix moves from track to track with consideration and purpose, trying to create a journey for is full of life and energy.
In addition to this, Patto has started hosting his own outdoor events under the monkier “Sporadic events”. Patto is passionate about taking Drum & Bass and other genres under the stars and in the dirt with a solid sound system where there is time to hang out and create art within the underground music community.
