Aptly described by UKF as a “freestyle genreless bass conjurer,” Nomine boasts an impressive music career spanning almost three decades. He was deeply involved in the then-emerging jungle and drum & bass scene through in mid 90’s as a pirate radio owner, DJ, producer, and label owner under the alias Outrage, a name that continues to be respected throughout the underground scene today.

Around 2010 he began writing 140 with “no commercial purpose” under the alias Nomine, which rapidly gained critical acclaim, releasing on Tempa, and more recently his own label Nomine Sound.

Not satisfied with purely making his own music, he’s since been lecturing at a university level on music production and taking his knowledge to the UK club environment with Education & Bass, a monthly event that comprises seminars with soundclashes where fans and producers of all levels and unite and learn.

Pulling from his extensive experience, he fashions a sharp sound as Nomine that straddles the techno, dubstep, and drum & bass worlds.
