When it comes to Drum & Bass, Sweetpea is one of the scene’s most exciting DJs because of her trademark energetic sets that cover a range of styles. Sweetpea has been on the scene for over 10 years, breaking through with underground shows on Origin FM and Rude FM. She now hosts a hugely popular bi-monthly show on Bassdrive.com and has guest-hosted a Drum & Bass show on BBC Radio 1.
Sweetpea produced her first tune in 2016 on Terabyte Records. Since then, she has released music on Hospital Records, Dispatch, Sofa Sound and Demand Records. In 2021, Sweetpea released Undercover – her first solo EP – on Spearhead Records which featured MC Chickaboo and Shady Novelle.
When she’s not producing music or presenting radio shows, Sweetpea can be found whipping up a crowd with her blistering live sets in iconic clubs and festivals across the globe. These include Fabric, Rupture, Sun and Bass, Hospitality on the Beach, Cross Club in Prague, and H<3art Beatz in New York. Sweetpea is one of the founding members of EQ50, a collective of womxn addressing inequality and representation in dance music.
