Stepping up for our 97th UKBMix is Brighton based DJ @jungalicednb supplying us with an hour and 20 minutes of uk bass music flavours, spanning a number of genres. Renowned for mixing Jungle and DnB, Jungalice has been making waves within the scene for good few years now with her killer vinyl sets, this mix see’s her delves into different territory.

A key figure within Brighton’s music scene, you can often find her playing at Volks on the seafront, or if you’re not out late and fancy a little retail therapy, at RK Bass at Rarekind records in the lanes.

talking about her mix, she says “This has been a really interesting mix for me to put together. I usually focus on Drum and Bass & Dubstep musically, but I took this opportunity to compile a load of more UK bass / 130 / future garage focussed tracks that iv’e been gathering and listening too over the years. Its a sound ive been getting more into quite recently so theres some newish bits in there too. It’s been really interesting hearing the musical shift of popularity recently to a more breakbeat focused slower tempo bass musical flow. Iv’e tried to incorporate that sort of old and new take in this mix. It’s been a pleasure stitching it all together!”
