@the-untouchables is a collaboration of Belgium-based Kay & Nitrox that started at the dawn of the new Millenium.
The duo specialises in the dark and tribal dub side of drum and bass and has an impressive catalogue of releases on genre-defining labels such as Samurai Music, Rupture, Cylon, Renegade Hardware, 457, Translation, DNO, Alphacut and Mutable Beats. Their sound outlines a wide array of musical styles – from minimal, to dubby, to deep, percussive halfstep – all that bathed in distorted, fleshy bass.
Behind the decks, The Untouchables are a force to be reckoned with. They always deliver a heavyweight selection of sounds that come from the deeper side of the bass universe. Currently, they are hosting a show on Black Rhino Radio, featuring fresh music from their studio & producers they like, as well as guest appearances from their favourite roster of artists.
