Producer, topline writer, DJ & singer; Dee Montego combines a hybrid of heavy DnB beats, layered with emotive vocals and soulful soundscapes.
Growing up in a rural town and surrounded by a variety of musical influences, the singer-songwriter originally started out creating Indie/ Neo-Soul tracks. It wasn’t until London-born Montego moved back to the city, where she started to immerse herself in the diverse culture & rave scenes. Inspired by underground sounds, Montego began bedroom producing, exploring the realms of electronic music mixed with live instrumentation in her production.
Being selected for the EQ50 mentorship (matched with Drum&BassArena and EQ50 mentor Sweetpea), today Dee is focusing on harnessing her technical production skills and pushing new boundaries.
Montego is set to make her debut release in 2023, so keep your eyes peeled as big things are yet to come!
