Everything I’ve experienced, both positive and negative as a black trangender woman in the music industry and life in general. Artists who challenge the status quo and stereotypes. Progressive activism, logic and the scientific method, sci-fi, futurism, other trans and queer leaders in all aspects of life.

Advice for the DJs, producers and artists of our community: Accept no limitations others may place on you. Glass ceilings are made to be broken. If you can see it, you can be it. If you can dream it, you can scheme it. Seek like minds but don’t be afraid to color outside the lines. Somewhere between familiarity and the edge of your artistic comfort zone is where innovation comes from. Going beyond your comfort zone may take you into new directions you hadn’t considered or at least taught you something new.
