Basic Rhythm
Our first mix of 2022 comes from @basicrhythm who having plied his trade on the early pirate radio stations of London has made quite a stir since returning to this native production territory of jungle and drum and bass. Having had a successful career through a wide rage of genres with releases on Sneaker Social Club, Planet Mu, Warp’s Arcola and others he has found his way back to d&b with his new imprint @rawbasicsrecords.
With new projects in the pipeline, this mix sees him delivering a selection of his own unreleased dubs, as colourful and brutalist as ever and exclusive tracks yet to be released from several other leading specialists.
Expect big developments from Basic Rhythm, with forthcoming releases on CNVX and others locked in the diary as he embarks on this new production and performance chapter.
