About the mix:
I love how a DJ has the opportunity to transport the listener and take them on “a journey through sound” (Logistics – The Trip). It’s an ethos I’ve always aspired to and something I’ve tried to focus on in this mix along with other tools like energy pacing and playing some of my own music. Sonically I think this is a real rolling mix from ambient to Liquid, to minimal to roller and a slice of harder stuff in there too! So I really hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it! This one’s for the late-night cru <3 About Somatic Coming from a dual heritage Indian-English background, Somatic (Somin Griffin-Dave) specializes in the sonic world as a sound artist, producer, DJ, sound engineer, and tour manager. Inspired by the Devon landscapes he grew up in, his versatile practice includes creating electronic music that treads the line between club and home listening, audio for dance & film and audio-visual creation.
