After discovering the sounds of Jungle in the mid-90’s, Gremlinz is a Toronto native who fully immersed himself with Drum & Bass and its culture by collecting records, DJing and learning to produce. He’s since gone on to further develop his style of dub/b-boy influenced drum & bass, and release tracks on a number of influential labels like Metalheadz, Renegade Hardware, 31 Records & more.
5 years ago, Gremlinz set up the heralded UVB-76 label alongside the collective Ruffhouse, and since then the imprint has grown to include offshoot labels Droogs, 4 6 2 5, and The Stone Tapes. In 2018, his career came full circle in the form of a collaboration EP with longtime friend Jesta on Metalheadz, which has since developed into a full integration into the Headz stable for the duo.
