Hospitality is the worldwide club event of top UK D&B imprint Hospital Records. From humble beginnings Hospitality has grown to become a true titan of the scene, known for its feel good music policy, showstopping DJs and a friendly, up for it crowd.

The first Hospitality event was at Herbal way back in 2001. After five years of monthly shindigs at the Eastend sweatbox, Hospitality took the giant leap to superclub Heaven for quarterly parties which instantly became the stuff of legend. Matter became the new home in 2008 and after nine completely sold out parties it was time to move on again. 2010 marked the beginning of a new bi-annual home for the London event, hosted at the 4,500 capacity Brixton 02 Academy, with the Camo & Krooked LIVE show taking place in 2011 and Justin Meno TV’s production efforts giving rise to the iconic glowing ‘H’ and ‘HOSPITALITY’ sign which now travels round the UK on a regular basis.

As well as London events, Hospitality also has shows all over the UK, Europe and the world, including regular parties everywhere from Brighton and Bristol, to Nottingham, Sheffield, Leeds and beyond. In addition to this, there are also one off shows everywhere from Miami to Ibiza to Tokyo as well as tours across the globe.

Hospitality brings together bass heavy music, a friendly atmosphere and high quality production to create one of the best clubbing experiences to be had anywhere in the world.

…more info coming soon 😉

<<<ETHERWOOD>>>
Etherwood is undoubtedly one of the most promising young talents in the scene today. Originally from Lincoln and now living in London, Woody has already captured the imagination of thousands across the globe with his achingly beautiful beats and heartfelt melodies.

Fusing the upbeat energy of drum & bass with the chilled, atmospheric moods of reverb-heavy guitar and delayed piano rolls, it’s hard to believe that Etherwood only started producing drum & bass two years ago. Already he’s received support from Radio One, 1Xtra, Capital FM, XFM, Triple J and Rinse FM and has remixed high profile artists including Lana Del Rey, Jakwob, Gorgon City and Alex Clare.

“Woody” then picked up the award for “Best Newcomer DJ” and “Best Newcomer Producer” at the 2013 D&B Arena awards, bagged a slot with BBC Radio 1Xtra’s “Xtra Talent” alongside Crissy Criss, and teamed up with Hospital’s Devonshire duo Fred V & Grafix to lay down the vocals on this year’s summer anthem “Forest Fires”. This forthcoming collaboration has already proved its potential for crossover success by being added to the Radio 1 Playlist over a month before release. As he continues to prove his versatility and talent, Hospital Records invited him to put together their first artist led mix album in over four years, which dropped at the end of May, entitled “Hospital Mixtape: Etherwood”.

As we look to the horizon, things are looking very promising for Woody as he unquestionably holds down the title of man of the moment in the scene. With a signature sound that is both instantly recognisable and deeply compelling, his dedicated fanbase continues to grow in all corners of the globe, all eager to hear what’s next from him

<<< KEENO >>>
Keeno quite simply one of the most exciting young producers to grace the world of drum & bass in recent years, William Keen aka Keeno, is a classically trained, multi-instrumentalist whose music transcends the dancefloor and enters the realms of cinematic beauty.

His debut album, “Life Cycle”, released on Med School in 2014 was a masterpiece, revered by all who took the time to appreciate its craft – a perfect follow up to his debut release, the stunning “Nocturne” EP that entered the world of music late in 2013.

Fast forward a couple of years and Keeno is burning brighter than ever – an accomplished DJ whose style and energy had ingited dancefloors across Europe and beyond.

2016 sees the release of Keeno’s second album, “Futurist”, a sixteen track album that embodies everything that’s speical and unique about Keeno – another step forward for the label and this exceptionally talented producer.

PATTO – Live @ River Dreaming – SUNSET DNB 25.9.16

A recording of my set live @ RIVER DREAMING FESTIVAL on the 25.9.16 in the magical riverland @ Waikerie!

It was an absolute honor to be a part of such a diverse & high caliber lineup at what I believe is the beginning of something very special for Radelaide’s little doof scene!

I played mostly liquid DNB + a few cheeky rollers as it fit the sunset & environment nicely!

HUGE thanks to Luke Stone from JELLYFISH EVENTS for having me onboard. I had an amazing time 🙂

Silence Groove – Lost & Found

Just Greg Retrospective Mix #23 By vonAudio (Free Download)

– The reason I chose most of these songs, is that I’ve heard them in other Dj’s mixes, for a few months, and have been waiting for them to be released. I love all styles of Drum and Bass, but the “liquid” and melodic, musical style has always appealed to me far more than any other Sub-Genre. I feel the tracks work really well together and complement each other perfectly. The last two tracks don’t necessarily fit so well in the mix, but I had to play them, as they are really unique, and caught my attention from the second I heard them.

*About me: I’ve always loved music. It is my earliest memory of being alive. I grew up listening to groups such as Queen, Kool & The Gang, and other “Soft rock” and Funk acts, until I first heard heavy metal, at the age of 8. I threw myself into that head first, listening to the heaviest, and fastest metal I could find. Then I discovered Hardcore Metal, not the “emo-crap”, but proper New York hardcore. Aaaaand then nu-Metal happened.
I first heard Drum & Bass, as it was just being known from the jungle days. I was 16, and I fell in love! I didn’t know what it was, or is, about it that I love so much, but it is the best thing I have ever heard, and I’ll be listening to this until the day I die, AS WILL MY KIDS!
I Dj “professionally” for a living, and I play anything from 4-6 gigs a week. I play Golden Era (80’s & 90’s) Hip-Hop, Classic 70’s & 80’s Funk and Disco, and Jacking & Bassline house. I love my job, however, it is also the reason that I don’t get to come to as many DnB gigs as I’d like.

SUNANDBASS Podcast #43 – Quadrant & Iris

The start of December sees SUNANDBASS Podcast #43 dropping – and it’s time to get cold.

Quadrant & Iris have very kindly graced us with a mix of epic proportions, showing us exactly what to expect when they step up to the decks.

Featuring a raft of their own productions, including some from their 2015 ‘206’ LP on Commercial Suicide, the mix also neatly ties together a wide range of flavours from many of drum and bass’ important players – but also some fresher names, proving they like to keep their ears to the ground for hot new tracks and talent.

Enjoy the mix, it’s going to warm up the place!
