One I found on an old, very worn out looking (and sounding!) TDK 60 tape when packed up and made the move out of the UK. Did this way back when I was 17 years of age in my 4th ever year of DJ’ing (since starting out); the same year I earned a long term residency at D.O.P.E in Leeds. Good memories 👌
Tried to remaster it the best I can with (hiss reduction and balancing, limiter plug ins etc) but yeah – not easy! Problem was back then I spent every penny I had on records so when it came to recording any mixes the tapes got re-recorded upon re-recorded on week in week out – they soon degraded somewhat on each tape over (not just that I used to re-start studio mixes 6 or 7 times across a day or 2, any one who grew up with this music in that era will most probably relate).
